How to Clean Moissanite Jewellery

Like any gemstone, moissanite starts looking dull with everyday wear due to exposure with the oil from skin, soaps, cosmetics, and other elements throughout the day. But a quick clean will have your moissanite looking brand new within a few minutes.
All you need is:
- Mild dish washing soap
- Soft toothbrush
- Warm water
- Cloth to dry
Keep it simple:
- Prepare a bowl of warm to hot soapy water with a mild dish washing soap
- Place your moissanite jewellery in the bowl for a minute
- Brush the jewellery carefully with a soft toothbrush
- Rinse it well
- Dry with a lint-free cloth or leave to air dry
We recommend you clean your moissanite at least once a month to keep them brilliant and shining bright.
How to Store Moissanite Jewellery
Moissanite is one of the most durable gemstones, second only to diamonds. It is very hard (Mohs 9.25), highly scratch resistant and handles rough exposure exceptionally well. Which is why it’s perfect for everyday wear.
We recommend you store your moissanite separately in a pouch or fabric-lined box to protect your OTHER jewellery from scratches. Storing moissanite with other jewellery may damage them as moissanite is extremely hard.
Only other moissanites and diamonds will be able to scratch moissanites. It is truly an extraordinary gemstone.
